A boy named Sung-bong; left in an orphanage at age three; running away at age five after being beaten, to live on the streets all alone, sleeping in stairwells and public restrooms, living by selling gum and energy drinks. One day he hears a singer in a nightclub and decides he wants to sing too. And here’s what came of that:

All I could think about was taking care of “widows and orphans”. I wish I was in a position to adopt him when he was younger. It was great to see him smile when he walked off stage.
But wait: Unwanted, unloved … he’d have been the perfect candidate for abortion.
Dear God! How many millions of talented, lovely, caring, gentle, potential-filled tiny ones made in Your image, have been denied all opportunity to grow into what You created them to be!
God be merciful to us, poor sinners!
