Amen and thanks for the report Ellen. You’re absolutely correct on the need for prayer for all those who have been deceived by Harold Camping (again!). I’m sure there will be a backlash and it’s terribly sad to think that so many hung their hopes and mortgaged their futures on the false teachings of a man like Camping.

It’s never a good thing when Christians do foolish things (which is why we ought to warn them in every way possible — including mocking foolish teachings that are set forth). Now we’ll all have to deal with the mocking of the world — regardless of whether we opposed Camping or not.

Well …. We give thanks to the Lord for a still, sunny, mild autumn day here. It’s around 9 p.m. now and no rumbles that I’ve heard. I was preoccupied around tea time, but I’m sure I’d have noticed.

I do so pray that these poor folk won’t start looking for another date. I grew up in a premil church and I can still remember our pastor telling us we’d be lucky to see 1984.

I don’t think you’ll need the seismographs. Have a blessed Lord’s Day – He is risen indeed!

Ellen, great question, Harold says the earthquake will begin in each timezone at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st and roll progressively around the world — so that means y’all will start us off.

Sorry, but that’s just one more reason why you shouldn’t live in Australia.

I hate to say it, but it looks to me like Robert has what may be called that “terminal look”. I’m no doctor, but maybe hospice is in order…especially on the 22nd.
