Ok, in our continual effort to keep you up to date on current events, here’s the latest from the camp of Harold Camping:
“WE CAN KNOW from the Bible alone that the date of the rapture of believers will take place on May 21, 2011 and that God will destroy this world on October 21, 2011.”
Right. But since Jesus has said that “NO MAN knows the day or the hour” of the end, here’s what WE CAN REALLY KNOW: The rapture WILL NOT take place on May 21, 2011 AND the world WILL NOT be destroyed on October 21, 2011.
So, here’s my offer to all the followers of Harold Camping: I’ll buy from you (at .0001 on the dollar) all houses, lands, new (or “like new”) electronics, 2011 Alabama football tickets, luxury cars (if they’re in mint condition), all extremely valuable paintings, jewelry, and antiques — along with an option on anything else that you own — I’ll even agree not to take possession of anything until May 22, 2011, to allow you full usage of your stuff until Rapture Day. Some deal, huh?
So, whaddaya say, boys? You can’t lose on this. Do you really believe WE CAN KNOW or not? Lookin’ forward to hearing from y’all.
[and if I get no offers, I'm telling Harold that he's being followed by a bunch of hypocrites]

I want in on this!
Dear Pasta Steve,
We live the SF Bay Area and I love your commentary post. We listen to HCs Family Radio some times because they often have great music from Hymns to Psalms. Yes their end times theology is non-sensical and your levity about this belief is a fresh breath of air. dd+ nd
I’ll raise your bid – one penny on the dollar – cash on the barrellhead! Y’all put your stuff where yo’ mouf is – walk yo’ talk!!!
Any word from Harold Camping’s followers?
Andre,
Still waiting.
But let me reiterate to all the fun-loving Harold C followers:
The offer stands and the phone lines are open. Please let us hear from you! Will take offers up to May 20 so there’s lots of time — but why wait? Give me your stuff and getchoo some folding money for that pre-Rapture party you’ve always wanted to host. Act today, our people are standing by to assist you!
How do you explain the verses that says no one is righteous no not one, much like the verse that says no one knows. Notice the similar language, no one is righteous/ no one knows. Both verses say no one **** but it does NOT say no one can **** you see just like we all start off not righteous and thus not knowing we can, by the Grace of God and only by the Grace of God we can become righteous and we can know. Think about it…
“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” – Philippians 2:13
“For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.” – 1 Corinthians 2:11
God says no one is righteous and no one knows, but He can work in us to will and to do of His good pleasure and it is the Spirit of God in us that makes us know the date, it is the Spirit of God in us that revels the day.
“Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man’s heart discerneth both time and judgment.”
- Ecclesiastes 8:5
“Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.” – Amos 3:7
BTW, whoever wrote all that jiberish reminds me of high school, oh no wait…, high school is more mature than that, it actually reminds me of kindergarden… e.g “oh ya, oy ha then bla bla bla….”
So, Karo, you’re saying Harold Camping is one of the prophets Amos speaks about (Amos 3:7) and that God has revealed the time of the end to him? Ok, sounds good. So, where can I pick up your stuff?
Steve, what I am saying is that every true believer is a prophet spoken of in Amos. You seem to be obsessed with Harold Camping. Notice that I didn’t even mention his name and you are saying that I am saying he is a prophet.
Obviously you didn’t read what I said bout gpicking up my stuff!!!! you sound like a 6 years old!!! maybe you are…..
[...] Harold Camping campers, y’all remember my offer??? I’m still waiting to hear from you. C’mon guys! I mean, you’re spending all [...]
My thoughts about the May 21st ‘Judgement Day” scare….First of all, these people have forgotten the most important teaching from are Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, ….all mankind has fallen short of God’s expectations for us, but because of God’s perfect love, he sent his only begotten son to pay the ultimate price for our sins (Read John 3:16)….It takes incredible “Love” to give up ones life, to save another human being, let alone to physically take the burden of the entire worlds sin, and pay it’s debt with your life. Jesus Christ did this for the entire world! (Trust me when I say thats a lot of sin, and I bet a great part of his burden was my own…) I’m not a good person in this world by any standard, but when someone takes a bullet for me, or pays for my wrong doing with his life, isn’t that the greatest love of all? (Even if you didn’t believe in this person, wouldn’t you want to get to know him?) …really people this is so simple, and yet we can’t see the forest threw the tree’s! ….ask yourself one simple question, why did Jesus Christ sacrifice his life? ….do you think anyone would just give up their life for someone that they didn’t know? Rest assured God know’s each and everyone of you personally…Like a parent knows his children, and he “Loves” you, with his whole heart…why else would he give up his life to save you? Don’t worry about all of the stuff your reading online or seeing on TV, everything is in God’s hands! The only thing that we should all be concerned about is getting to personally know the one that gave up his life for you, …and to start becoming his friend! Trust me when I say this, Jesus Christ is Perfect Love! ….and he loves you personally! All my very Best to you all…. ~Ed
Ed, you don’t sound “evil” at all!
